Cheese sold at Wegmans stores in nine states and Washington, D.C., has been recalled over potential bacterial contamination, the Food and Drug Administration announced Tuesday.
The soft cheese may contain Listeria, a bacterium that can cause serious—and sometimes deadly—foodborne illness.
If your cheese is included in the recall, throw it away immediately and monitor for signs of a Listeria infection.
